Job summary

ASRC Federal, through its Defense organization, seeks a Procurement Specialist for Chemical Management Services to ensure safe, compliant delivery of hazardous materials used in aircraft maintenance across multiple locations.

You will lead procurement activities, leverage Military and Government specifications, and coordinate with suppliers to prevent work stoppages while maintaining mission readiness. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in procurement
• Experience in DoD environment preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute procurement processes
• Source products using Military, Federal, or manufacturer specifications
• Negotiate and procure material, prioritizing critical items
• Research hazardous material product lines and procurement specs
• Perform market research for Government sources and transportation
• Monitor and report supplier performance
• Track data on price trends and market dynamics
