Job summary

Kolpak LLC in Parsons, TN seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety representative to develop and champion EHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead incident investigations. The role reports to the HR Business Partner and is based on-site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in EHS with 4+ years of experience, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and strong training and communication skills. OSHA-10 preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental,health & safety preferred; 4+ years’ EHS experience.
• In lieu of education, 8+ years of industrial manufacturing EHS experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and hazards.
• Leadership and training skills; organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with plant management to ensure compliance with federal, state and local EHS laws and regulations.
• Develop site EHS plans including budget, implementation and status reporting.
• Provide technical EHS support for operations, equipment and contractors.
• Conduct inspections and audits; take corrective actions and drive to zero incidents.
• Plan and manage EHS training programs; develop training materials.
• Lead incident investigations and report root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Ensure policies and procedures are understood and followed by employees and stakeholders.
