Position Overview:

The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring EHS compliance within the organization through audits and inspections. This individual will identify opportunities for improvement to enhance Cytiva's EHS performance. The role involves implementing and managing EHS programs to fulfill Cytiva’s EHS policies.

This position reports to the Senior EHS Manager and is based on-site in Westborough, MA.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead specific aspects of projects and permits, including technical, regulatory, reporting, permitting, compliance, and administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
2. Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks, and develop corrective action plans and budgets to address deficiencies.
3. Prepare and review specifications and orders for safety equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science degree preferred, with emphasis in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Health and Safety, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in EHS activities supporting a manufacturing site.

Travel & Physical Requirements:

• Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily to Westborough, with some travel to Shrewsbury & Southborough.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience:

• Internal auditing.
• Sustainability reporting.
