Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an EHS leader to provide subject matter expertise and governance for emerging technologies and compliance. The role collaborates with Product Safety and Chief Engineer teams to align EHS practices with engineering objectives, and supports hazard controls and risk mitigation across sites.

The position involves coordinating EHS reviews, MOC processes, and incident learnings, with travel around 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Experience in EHS, systems engineering, product safety, or engineering operations.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, EHS, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME on emerging technologies and EHS compliance.
• Serve as EHS liaison to Product Safety and the Office of the Chief Engineer.
• Partner with Engineering Lab Management to ensure safe work processes.
• Coordinate EHS support for Failure Review Boards (FRB) and Engineering Safety Review Boards.
• Support EHS Management of Change processes and review of changes.
