Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA is seeking an energetic, self-directed Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional to support our sustainability, compliance, and risk reduction efforts at the site. This complex manufacturing site offers the EHS professional an opportunity to work with manufacturing and support teams to foster employee engagement and drive continuous improvement of the EHS program.

Responsibilities include recognizing hazards, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and company

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience, typically with 5+ years of EH&S experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Professional certification in EH&S (ASP, CSP, CIH, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Recognize, evaluate, and control hazardous workplace conditions.
Take proactive steps to ensure safety and health of site employees and promote safe behaviors.
Work with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with applicable EHS requirements and regulations.
Investigate, analyze, and interpret data from injuries and near-misses; ensure corrective actions are completed.
Interact with employees to build partnerships and promote improvement programs.
