Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager of Environmental Health & Safety in Texas to lead EHS programs for a cutting-edge semiconductor facility. The role requires building and guiding a team of EHS managers, specialists and engineers, with travel up to 50% and relocation if needed to the College Station area.

You will drive risk assessments, engineer safeguards, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while aligning with SpaceX safety goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• 10+ years of design, development, and oversight of EHS disciplines.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive EHS programs and plans across teams to meet goals.
• Set priorities and long-range plans for the EHS organization.
• Drive risk assessments and implement engineering controls to mitigate hazards.
• Coordinate with site leadership for process safety involvement.
• Represent EHS in site-wide meetings and briefings.
• Guide job assignments and procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate mission and values within team goals.
• Implement OSHA-compliant occupational safety programs.
• Evaluate overpressure/overtemperature and reaction hazards.
• Coordinate with local resource agencies as main contact.
