Job summary

SpaceX in Texas is seeking a Senior EHS Engineer, Contractor Management, to lead safety programs across a fast-paced, growing organization. You will partner with supply, legal and operations to implement contractor safety initiatives, perform audits, and drive incident investigations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in EHS, strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, excellent communication, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to engage teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Develop and implement contractor safety programs.
Collaborate with supply, legal and operational partners to drive program success.
Provide expert EHS support to the Business Operations team.
Travel to engage suppliers and internal teams as needed.
Conduct site assessments, audits, hazard analyses, and safety inspections.
Develop and implement safety programs, training, and risk mitigation strategies.
Respond to urgent safety concerns and investigate incidents.
Promote a strong safety culture while balancing operational demands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
