Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Engineer, Contractor Management to support our Business Operations team. You will develop and implement contractor safety programs, collaborate with supply, legal and operations, and provide expert EHS guidance across domestic and international sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design, development and oversight of EHS disciplines
• Experience with contractor safety management programs
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and international EHS regulations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contractor management safety programs across the organization
• Collaborate with supply, legal and operational partners to drive program success
• Provide expert EHS support to the Business Operations team as advisor
• Travel to engage suppliers, contractors and internal teams as needed
• Conduct site assessments, audits, hazard analyses and safety inspections
• Develop safety programs, training and risk mitigation strategies
• Respond to urgent safety concerns and assist incident investigations
• Champion a strong safety culture while balancing timelines
• Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across sites
