Job summary

Teknor Apex seeks a Sr. Environmental, Health and Safety Manager in Brownsville, TN to lead site-wide EHS strategy, ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, and drive risk reduction across operations.

You will partner with Operations, HR, Engineering and site leadership to build a zero-incident culture, develop practical standards, conduct investigations, and oversee training, contractor safety and sustainability programs.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive Environmental, Health and Safety experience with management responsibilities.
• Four-year degree or equivalent in Industrial Safety, Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide EHS strategy for Brownsville, TN and potential support for additional sites.
• Own OSHA and environmental compliance across operations.
• Develop, implement, and improve EHS programs, training systems, and documentation controls.
• Lead safety audits, investigations, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage EHS budget and coordinate cross-functional safety initiatives.
