Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive EHS experience including management and site leadership.
• Four-year degree or equivalent in Industrial Safety, Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide EHS strategy for Brownsville and possibly other facilities.
• Establish EHS vision, objectives, metrics, and priorities with site leadership.
• Own site-wide EHS compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local requirements.
• Develop and improve EHS programs, training, and documentation controls.
• Lead investigations for serious incidents, near-misses, and accidents.
• Manage incident reporting, workers' comp coordination, and corrective actions.
• Analyze safety metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and contractor safety programs.
