Job summary

CSS Staffing seeks an EHS Manager to lead safety and environmental programs onsite in Council Bluffs, IA. Expect $150,000 DOE with a 15% annual incentive and fully paid healthcare premium options.

You will guide risk reduction, PSM, and environmental compliance across air, water, and waste, while driving a culture of safety and regulatory excellence. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing safety, CSP preferred, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Safety role within manufacturing.
• 2+ years managing PSM functions.
• 3+ years environmental compliance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SDS library and OSHA GHS compliance.
• Manage hazard analysis and permit processes for hot work and LOTO.
• Direct PSM elements including PHA, MI, and MOC.
• Maintain safety data, records, and audit readiness.
• Lead safety training and on-boarding for new hires.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce contractor safety.
• Direct environmental permits, reporting, and renewals.
