Job summary

CloudHQ is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for on-site project-based work at our Northern Virginia data center sites. This role closely partners with CHQ teams, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with federal and local regulations and CloudHQ EHS standards.

You will oversee contractor safety performance, support incident investigations, and promote proactive safety programs to protect workers, assets, and schedules across all

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience, leading EHS programs for data center/heavy industrial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field; professional certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present to leadership.
• Willingness to travel to other CHQ U.S. data center sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GC EHS performance to ensure compliance with plans and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce CHQ EHS standards and superior safety practices.
• Provide data-driven insights on contractor EHS performance to enable decisions.
• Participate in site inspections and verify health and life-safety compliance.
• Collaborate with CHQ leadership on regulatory interpretation and actions.
• Review and approve GC EHS plans, policies, and procedures.
