Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is seeking an EHS Manager for a US Virginia-based data center project on an initial 3-month contract. You will monitor EHS performance, ensure contractor compliance, and support the PM with data-driven insights. You will participate in daily inspections and drive health and life-safety standards on site.

Experience in data centers or heavy industrial construction is required, along with strong ethics, confidentiality, and leadership communication skills.

• Extensive construction experience with leadership of EHS on data center or heavy industrial projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Routinely monitor the client’s EHS performance to ensure contractors are in compliance with written EHS plans, policies, procedures, practices, government regulatory requirements, and any additional client expectations or deliverables identified in the contract
• Ensure compliance and implementation of EHS guidelines that may exceed regulatory requirements
• Interface and support the client’s Project Management team by presenting current data on contractor’s EHS performance, including trending, incident investigation and management, EHS metrics and other key information
• Participate in daily EHS inspections of an active data center construction project with the EHS Safety Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements as well as life safety requirements
