Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an EHS Manager – Construction to lead on-site safety specialists across multiple EPC projects in the U.S. You will translate the EHS program strategy into standardized site processes, hire and coach staff, and drive a zero-injury culture with clients and GC partners.

You will ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA/EPA/DOT/state), conduct incident investigations, develop improvement plans, and report safety performance to the EHS Director.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction EHS experience.
• 5+ years directly managing or supervising other EHS professionals.
• Ability to interface with Senior Executive team at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of on-site Construction Safety/EHS Specialists across multiple concurrent energy storage projects in the U.S., including hiring input, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and offboarding.
• Translate EHS Director-level program strategy into standardized operational processes and site-level execution across all projects in the portfolio.
• Ensure site audits, inspections, and engagement activities align with the project EHS program and regulatory requirements.
