Job summary

Topsoe's Pasadena, TX site seeks a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to lead all EHS, process safety, risk management, and facility security activities. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.

You will partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement, mentor teams, and build strategic initiatives that reduce risk and protect workers while supporting sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing an EHS function within a manufacturing, chemical or refiner environment.
• Strong knowledge of environmental compliance, including air, water and waste management.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and process safety management systems.
• Familiarity with emissions testing programs safety management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies, plant leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Certification preferred in CSOP and/or CIH.

The role and impact

As a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager is located at Topsoe's manufacturing site. You will be responsible for leading and managing all environmental, health, safety, process safety, risk management, property protection, and facility security activities for the Bayport site. This position ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company standards and policies. The role serves as a key resource to site leadership and plant personnel, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and operational support to promote regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and continuous improvement in EHS performance.

What you'll bring

• B.S. in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and are related field required.
• Certification preferred in CSOP and/or CIH preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing an EHS function within a manufacturing, chemical or refiner environment.
