Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking an EHS Manager to provide senior, hands‑on safety leadership for a dedicated facility near Columbus, Ohio. This full‑time 12‑month role requires independent operation in a fast‑moving technical environment, anticipating risk and building scalable safety systems that protect workers and support growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in complex technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health practices.
• Experience scaling EHS programs for rapid growth and 24/7 operations.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into practical programs.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and partners across functions.

Responsibilities

• Set site-level EHS strategy and execution for the special projects site.
• Anticipate EHS requirements for new operations and scale plans before work begins.
• Lead risk identification and control across projects, including machine safety and contractor safety.
• Develop and maintain site EHS programs, risk assessments, training, and incident systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and other teams to embed safety into design and planning.
• Provide visible field leadership across shifts and 24/7 operations.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions with trend analysis.
