Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Safety Manager to lead our Environmental, Health, & Safety programs across Texas operations, including North Texas. You will provide training, oversee compliance, conduct audits, manage PPE, and partner with site leadership to promote a culture of safety, SEE, STOP, DO, and incident prevention.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in safety or related field, 5+ years of managerial experience with large teams, and working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, TXDOT,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field; or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience with a company of 500+ employees.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to enforce OSHA, TXDOT, FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, oversight and compliance support to all lines of business, facilities and construction operations.
• Assist in maintaining a high level of safety compliance through site visits and collaboration with management.
• Conduct periodic audits of operations focused on safety compliance and incident prevention.
• Coordinate and oversee PPE procurement and training programs.
• Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) and safety training initiatives across sites.
• Support safety learning teams and drive safety culture initiatives.
