Job summary

Arrow International, a leading maker of charitable gaming products, seeks a Director of Environmental Health & Safety to lead company-wide EHS programs across manufacturing and distribution. You will establish standards, drive safety culture, and partner with operations to reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years in EHS, 5+ years of leadership, and the ability to travel across Arrow facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, or industrial environments.
• 5+ years of EHS leadership experience with responsibility for building and improving safety programs.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities or geographically distributed operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to reduce workplace injuries and improve safety performance through measurable, sustainable programs.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action, workers’ compensation, and risk reduction methodologies.
• Experience with manufacturing safety programs including LOTO, machine guarding, powered industrial trucks, ergonomics, electrical safety, HazCom, PPE, and contractor safety.
• Demonstrated ability to influence plant managers, operations leaders, supervisors, and front-line employees without reliance on positional authority.
• Experience developing EHS metrics, dashboards, audits, and management reporting.
• Ability and willingness to travel to Arrow facilities as needed.
• Sustainability or ESG reporting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Arrow’s enterprise-wide EHS strategy across manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and office locations.
• Establish consistent EHS policies, standards, procedures, and expectations across all Arrow facilities.
• Partner with site leadership to embed a strong safety culture and accountability across the organization.
• Lead EHS performance metrics, including leading and lagging indicators, OSHA records, and near-miss tracking.
• Manage incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions; ensure actions are tracked to closure.
• Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership for EHS training programs and support site safety committees and resources.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations on safety in capital projects; integrate safety from inception.
• Lead environmental compliance programs (hazardous waste, spill prevention, permitting, reporting).
• Prepare and present EHS performance and risk trends to senior leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

Professional certification (CSP/CIH/CHMM)
