Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering or similar related discipline and 8+ years relevant EHS industry experience.
• Experience in drug substance, drug product, biologics and/or aseptic sterile fill finish manufacturing is required
• Demonstrated experience in implementing EHS regulations and internal EHS Management/Technical Standards, EHS auditing, incident investigations, and cross functional teams.
• Ability to plan against business targets and approve functional area plans to achieve targets and strategic plan.
• Ability to define scope and magnitude of problems, provide rapid assessment, coordinate response, and develop procedures to minimize recurrence.
• Active listening, building relationships with internal/external colleagues and stakeholders, and resolving conflicts in GMP manufacturing environments.
• Ability to manage projects and programs according to schedule and within approved budgets
• Prior experience in a start up facility is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Environmental, Health and Safety Documentation Program with Global EHS Standards and training.
• Monitor regulations and enforcement trends, conduct impact analyses, implement compliance action plans.
• Provide oversight for EHS programs such as training, audits, OSHA Injury/Illness Recordkeeping compliance for U.S. and Puerto Rico.
• Participate in environmental, health and safety audits.
• Direct back-office processes for EHS Audit Program including data trending and action tracking.
• Coordinate with site and regional stakeholders for regulatory interactions and alignment.
