Job summary

Southern Ute Growth Fund is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety leader in Durango, CO. This role promotes EHS awareness and ensures regulatory compliance across the Growth Fund and its operations, including oil, gas, and energy activities.

The position leads multiple programs, develops and trains EHS initiatives, and emphasizes environmental aspects while minimizing risk. Strong data management and regulatory interpretation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must understand and interpret major regulatory programs and explain their purpose to operations.
• Excellent computer-based data management and analysis skills.
• Experience establishing EHS database systems for tracking environmental data, permits, documents, reports, audits.

Responsibilities

• Promote EHS awareness and regulatory compliance across the organization.
• Lead programs to ensure environmental and regulatory compliance for Growth Fund and its enterprises.
• Assist with processes to minimize environmental, worker safety, and regulatory risks.
• Develop, execute, and train EHS programs and initiatives with emphasis on environmental aspects.
• Serve as environmental program lead and coordinate related initiatives.
