The role involves audits, permit work under major environmental laws, and support for ESG due diligence, with opportunities to mentor staff and engage in client projects across multiple Colorado offices. The position emphasizes strong regulatory knowledge, written communication, and willingness to travel for site work and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, earth science, or engineering (required)
• Advanced degree in environmental engineering (preferred)
• Professional licensure (PE/PG) (preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in an EHS consulting environment (required)
• Strong writing and communication skills (required)
• Regular fieldwork and overnight travel (required)

Responsibilities

• Providing EHS compliance and performance management services, including audits and reviews of programs
• Developing compliance documents and permit applications under CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA
• Providing litigation and regulatory enforcement support for hazardous materials management
• Supporting due diligence projects including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
• Managing tasks/projects and mentoring staff
• Travel to client sites and office locations as needed
