Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist to protect employees, customers, and assets while ensuring regulatory compliance across local, state, and federal levels. The role leads risk assessments, audits, and training, and collaborates with engineering and facilities to drive continuous EHS improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in EHS, CSP/CIH preferred, and experience with Cal-OSHA, EPA, and APCD regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety/environmental regs (Cal-OSHA, EPA, APCD).
• Experience with incident investigations, training, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance efforts for Local, State, and Federal EHS regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and compliance audits.
• Develop and maintain site-specific EHS programs and training materials.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate return-to-work processes.
