Job summary
Triumvirate Environmental, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant specializing in industrial hygiene for pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences.
You will lead advisory projects onsite for pharmaceutical clients and guide organizations through evolving EHS regulations and best practices to build safer workplaces. You will dig into data to uncover insights, mentor fellow EHS Consultants, and design and deliver IH projects while staying ahead of
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or a related scientific field.
- 4+ years of hands‑on industrial hygiene experience.
- Experience making recommendations to reduce exposure in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to develop and execute IH sampling plans independently.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate hazards and apply OEB process to classify hazard levels and determine controls.
- Develop and implement IH sampling plans using NIOSH/OSHA/ACGIH methodologies.
- Analyze data and recommend engineering, administrative controls and PPE.
- Measure hazards such as noise and ergonomics with calibrated equipment.
- Assess effectiveness of fume hoods and local exhaust ventilation in pharma settings.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper PPE use.
- Identify physical and health hazards and propose control measures.
- Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and suggest remedial actions.
- Communicate safety issues to client personnel and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in developing occupational health and safety systems and policies.
- Lead and document Job Hazard Analyses and IH assessments.
