Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an EHS Governance Manager for North America to lead corporate safety governance, develop and refresh safety programs, and ensure OSHA compliance across sites in the region. The role requires collaborating with HR, Operations, and insurers to manage risk, claims, and training.

You will administer ISNetworld/Veriforce/Avetta, coordinate audits, and drive incident prevention initiatives, including Safety Week and essential training for forklift, crane, and emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate safety/EHS within multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments.
• OSHA expertise plus strong experience with workers’ compensation and compliance standards.
• Experience with ISNetworld or similar contractor management tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel periodically across North America.
• OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 500/510 and CSP/CHST or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain the corporate safety governance model across North American sites with a structured, risk-aware approach.
• Write, refresh, and control corporate and customer-specific safety programs.
• Ensure OSHA and applicable federal/state regulations compliance and track key metrics (OSHA recordables, DART, LTAR).
• Administer ISNetworld, Veriforce, and Avetta profiles and respond to customer safety questionnaires and audits.
• Publish safety communications, conduct new-hire safety orientations, and lead training on PPE, forklifts, cranes, and emergency topics.
• Lead inspections, audits, corrective actions, and enterprise-wide Safety Week initiatives.
• Oversee incident management, workers’ compensation programs, and return-to-work strategies.
• Coordinate with HR, Operations, and insurers on risk, claims, and insurance reporting.
• Develop and maintain safety checklists, learning materials, and documentation repository.
• Support disaster recovery planning and major event communications.
