Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks a Senior EHSS Engineer to lead a multi-year safety improvement plan within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This senior individual-contributor role will own EHSS programs from development through implementation and act as a culture change agent across all levels.

You will manage compliance, permitting, and regulatory reporting across multiple locations, develop policies and training, and conduct audits with root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety or related field.
• 7+ years of EHSS experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA and industrial hygiene requirements.
• Proven safety culture change experience.
• Experience with audits, root cause analysis, CAPAs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement a multi-year safety improvement plan.
• Own EHSS programs from development through implementation.
• Serve as a culture change agent across all levels.
• Manage compliance, permitting, and regulatory reporting across locations.
• Develop and maintain policies and training programs.
• Conduct audits, root cause analysis, CAPA tracking and closure.
• Track and report EHSS metrics.
• Provide regulatory support across multiple sites.
• Report to EHSS Manager and grow toward EHSS Manager responsibilities.
