ERM in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Senior Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist. You’ll collaborate with Project Managers and Partners on compliance, site investigations, and remediation for diverse clients, with travel to field locations as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in engineering or environmental science, 2–5 years of EHS experience, strong data reporting skills, and a drive to grow within a global sustainability firm.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or environmental science or related field.
• Minimum 3.25 GPA.
• 2 to 5 years of environmental experience or internships.
• Strong commitment to safety; able to work outdoors.
• Experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports; proficient with tables/spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
• Proactive, team-oriented, self-starter with a client-service mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; detail-oriented.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and remediation projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, and NPDES programs.
• Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed.
• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to support property transactions.
• Perform fieldwork including sampling, drilling, and data collection.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule; ensure quality deliverables.
