Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant, EHS Compliance in Philadelphia, PA or Ewing, NJ to lead client engagements and shape strategy for safer, more sustainable operations. You will expand ERM's EHS services in the Mid-Atlantic, focusing on pharmaceutical and manufacturing clients.

You will combine technical excellence with business development and leadership, mentoring consultants while delivering compliant, innovative solutions that drive client value and regional growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of environmental/compliance consulting experience, including 3+ years of business development.
• BS/MS in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex EHS programs and deliver client value.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERM’s EHS compliance and auditing services across the Mid-Atlantic.
• Build and expand executive-level client relationships in pharma and manufacturing.
• Develop and implement permitting, compliance, and auditing strategies.
• Mentor consultants and collaborate with global ERM experts.
• Drive strategic growth and ensure high-quality technical delivery.
