Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an EHS role.
• Significant knowledge and experience in EHS and integrating it into business and operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert advice for hazard controls, safety training, and compliance with local, state, federal, and company/client standards.
• Conducts incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, walkthroughs, and inspections.
• Develops action plans to close gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Engages and influences across levels to align safety culture with Amerit values.
• Works with operations to implement safety enhancements and reduce hazards.
• Facilitates continuous improvement programs to ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Coaches field management on EHS matters and regulatory reporting to stakeholders.
• Identifies best practices and integrates them into segment EHS plans.
• Analyzes EHS metrics and communicates actions to address trends.
• Responds to emergencies with real-time support.
