Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large Oracle Health EHR implementations across acute care facilities, coordinating with executives, clinicians, and vendors. You will plan, track, and govern multi-facility projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of Acute Facility EHR experience, strong stakeholder management, and proactive leadership in complex healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years of Acute Facility EHR implementation experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale healthcare technology projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale Oracle Health EHR implementation projects from planning through deployment and support.
• Coordinate project activities across hospital executives, physicians, nursing teams, technical resources, and vendor partners.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and project documentation.
• Gather, document, and manage business requirements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Define and track project success metrics and performance indicators.
• Manage project scope, resource allocation, capacity planning, budgets, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular project status updates to leadership.
• Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and communications tailored to various audiences.
• Maintain project governance, ensuring adherence to project management standards and methodologies.
• Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for project-related concerns and develop effective resolution strategies.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and strong working relationships among project stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and support organizational change management efforts.
• Ensure project documentation remains accurate, accessible, and up to date throughout the project lifecycle.
