Job summary

Entrans Inc. is seeking an experienced EHR Implementation Specialist to support the implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization of EHR/EMR systems in a healthcare setting.

The candidate will work closely with clinical teams, business stakeholders, IT, and vendors to ensure successful go-lives and ongoing optimization of workflows and interfaces, including HL7/FHIR interoperability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Healthcare Informatics or related field.
• 5+ years of EHR/EMR implementation or healthcare IT experience.
• Experience with Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH, Allscripts, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of hospital and clinical workflows.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating to EHR configurations.
• Experience with system testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and go-live support.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, APIs, and healthcare interoperability preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end EHR/EMR implementations from requirements through go-live and stabilization.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to define workflow requirements.
• Configure EHR/EMR modules based on defined requirements.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and conduct UAT.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during go-live and deployment.
• Assist with data migration, validation, and conversion activities.
• Ensure activities meet security, privacy, and compliance standards.
