Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Charlestown, MA is seeking an experienced EHR Application Analyst IV to design, configure, implement and support our organization’s EHR systems. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site go-lives or meetings.

You will lead projects, mentor colleagues, coordinate with IT and business owners, and maintain comprehensive documentation, while ensuring timely delivery and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years related work experience in EHR implementation and support.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Vendor certification for the supported applications/modules.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Defines, documents, builds and maintains EHR content.
• Creates functional specification documents for EHR content and validates with business owner.
• Leads projects independently following PM strategies and guidelines.
• Acts as a resource across IS teams and coordinates cross-team collaboration.
• Maintains certifications for the EHR applications and stays updated on new features.
• Coordinates meetings between IT, customers and vendors and documents outcomes.
• Prepares and maintains documentation including analysis, design, programming, and user guides.
• Provides on-call/after-hours support as required.
• Communicates with leadership at all levels including C-suite when needed.
• Mentors junior colleagues in application knowledge and project management.
