Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an environmental, health and safety role in heavily regulated manufacturing facilities (aerospace, automotive, medical devices, oil & gas).
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience handling and managing operations of hazardous materials and waste.

Responsibilities

• Handle EH&S operations at Rocket Lab HQ and Engine Development Center as primary responsibility.
• Inspect work areas and document activities in compliance with laws and internal practices.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing EH&S policies and responding to employee concerns.
• Assist with incident investigations and risk assessments for hazards.
• Evaluate equipment, tasks and processes to identify EH&S issues and improvements.
