Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Environmental Supervisor to lead environmental compliance, program maintenance, and risk reduction for a large manufacturing facility. You will oversee hourly unionized technicians handling wastewater and hazardous waste, ensuring regulatory adherence and continuous improvement.

The role reports to the EHS Manager and partners with Facilities Management to enforce ISO 14001 standards and drive Lean improvements while managing regulatory submissions and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or a technical field is required.
• 3+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or consulting environments.
• Certifications such as CSP/CHMM/CPEA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day environmental compliance and permitting (air, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste).
• Supervise hourly unionized safety and environmental technicians; oversee staffing and performance.
• Submit regulatory reports (Tier II, Form R, RCRA) and conduct risk analyses.
• Support ISO 14001 programs and EHS management system improvements.
