Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Environmental Supervisor to lead environmental compliance at a large manufacturing facility. You will set objectives, manage regulatory reporting, and directly supervise hourly technicians responsible for wastewater and hazardous waste activities.

You will partner with Facilities and external contractors to implement ISO 14001, drive risk reduction, and apply Lean principles to optimize cost and processes while ensuring OSHA alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field required.
• 3+ years of progressive Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• Preference for experience in a unionized workforce.
• Knowledge of Title V air permits and hazardous waste regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day environmental compliance and permitting (air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste).
• Supervise hourly unionized safety/environmental technicians; manage staffing and performance.
• Prepare and submit regulatory submissions (Tier II, Form R, hazardous waste reporting).
• Serve as SME on site environmental risk reduction; conduct research, data analysis, and training.
