Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for our Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada. You will help implement the EH&S management system, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and support our decarbonization initiatives.

You will lead training, monitor environmental and industrial hygiene programs, and partner with plant teams to drive continuous improvement while upholding Dow's safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Implements EH&S procedures and work processes aligned with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintains compliance with environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety measures.
• Acts as SME for EH&S policies and guides plant personnel.
• Functions as primary contact for EH&S concerns within the plant.
• Educates and coaches teams on environmental, health, and safety best practices.
• Assists in setting and meeting EH&S targets at plant/department level.
• Verifies completion of regulatory and compliance tasks.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene monitoring, data gathering, and reporting.
