Job summary

TD Bank seeks a seasoned Product Owner II for Risk Assessment in Charlotte, NC. You will lead cross-functional teams, maintain a prioritized backlog, and optimize product value for risk and compliance initiatives. Strong Agile leadership and collaboration with executives are essential.

You will guide multi-team delivery, navigate complex regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• 10+ years relevant experience in product ownership, risk management or related fields.
• 5-7 years Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience.
• CSPO certification and project management experience considered an asset.
• SAFe certifications or experience in scaled agile delivery considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Partners with senior management to support the delivery of a product vision.
• Create and maintain a product backlog; continuously re-prioritize user stories for value.
• Align with senior management on the delivery roadmap, MMF, MVP, and releases.
• Review performance analytics; propose strategies to improve customer value.
• Participate in scrum or Kanban events; share ideas to improve delivery value.
• Engage business process partners to prepare customers for application changes; establish Day 2 processes.
• Iterate a value-focused backlog; ensure stories are scoped and prioritized.
• Provide user story design, development oversight; accept/reject based on Definition of Done.
• Manage delivery initiatives and oversee multiple pod backlogs.
• Issue/defect management and prioritization within the backlog.
