Job summary

Houston City College is seeking a Senior EEO Title IX Compliance Investigator to support the Director of EEO Compliance in implementing the College's EEO and Title IX program. You will investigate complaints of discrimination and oversee reporting.

You will analyze evidence, determine compliance, and coordinate with College Administration and external investigators. Travel to campuses to deliver workshops and trainings on compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Educational Psychology, Counseling, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree or JD preferred.
• 5 years experience in Human Resources, Compliance, or Student Services, including 2 years in compliance, EEO, Title IX or related areas required.
• Valid Texas Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing, reviewing and monitoring EEO compliance programs for all college segments.
• Oversee EEO case intake, investigation, informal resolution, formal hearing processes, and training.
• Investigate discrimination cases by interviewing parties, gathering evidence and identifying witnesses.
• Analyze evidence in relation to College policies and state and federal statutes.
• Determine if a violation occurred and prepare written reports.
• Coordinate with College Administration and external investigators as needed.
• Investigate ADA violations and advise on accommodations and accessibility issues.
• Provide interpretation on equal opportunity issues to Administration, faculty, staff and students.
• Attend case review meetings and develop investigative plans.
• Travel to HCC campuses to deliver presentations and workshops on compliance.
