Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist I to perform electrodiagnostic procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient, and epilepsy unit. You will work with EEG, AEEG, EP, IOM, and related modalities, following established protocols and safety standards.

You will explain exams to patients and families in age-appropriate language, document any deviations, and ensure timely post-processing and data transfer for physician review, while assisting

Qualifications

• Clinical lab experience with electrodiagnostic tests.
• Registered or eligible in ABRET-related modalities.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrodiagnostic procedures per established protocols.
• Explain exams to patients/families using age-appropriate language.
• Adhere to protocols; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document protocol deviations and patient-specific issues.
• Notify provider when immediate clinical action is needed.
• Complete post-processing and data transfer for physician review.
