Job summary

The National Aquarium in Baltimore is seeking a Senior Educator to lead and refine conservation education programs across schools, camps, volunteers, and community sites. You will guide program delivery, develop new initiatives, and collaborate to create engaging experiences that inspire hopeful conservationists.

You will represent the organization at external events, coordinate summer camps and manage program data, waivers, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, education, or related field required.
• 3–5 years experience working with students in non-formal settings preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead a variety of education programs for diverse audiences.
• Train and supervise Educators and Interns during programs.
• Develop reporting tools to gather program data for grants and internal/external reporting.
• Maintain compliance, waivers, and program documentation.
• Support department activities such as events and youth programs.
