Job summary

Pearson seeks a Senior Educational Consulting Administrator for part-time, per-diem work delivering web-based and onsite product training and professional development to educators. The role requires strong facilitation of adult learners and data-based decision making with leaders to improve school systems.

The ideal candidate holds a master's (or relevant) and extensive experience in administering assessments and interpreting data, with proficiency in using educational technologies and traveling

Qualifications

• Master's degree in educational leadership, School Psychology, Special Education, or closely related field
• Bachelor's Degree in closely related field with five years of experience with administration and interpretation of preK-12 assessment instruments
• Experience delivering professional development to educators in a variety of learning formats
• Test administration and scoring experience with preK-12 academic and social-emotional measures
• Direct experience using aimswebPlus, DRA3, WriteToLearn, Review360, BASC-3 BESS, SSIS SEL, and/or Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen is preferred
• Expertise in using educational technologies and in supporting students and teachers in their use
• Proficient with interpreting normative and criterion-referenced student data

Responsibilities

• 60 % Deliver instructionally sound product training to customers using onsite and web-based formats
• 15 % Collaborate with Pearson internal team to stay up-to-date on product releases and training revisions; attend monthly meetings
• 15 % Plan and travel independently
• 10 % Work with customers to understand training needs and tailor PD sessions accordingly
