Job summary

ABM, one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Education to grow our K-12 and Higher Education markets in South Texas. Based in Houston, this role engages with C-suite executives to present funding-aligned facilities and energy solutions.

You will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, analyze client finances, and craft proposals that address budget gaps.

Qualifications

• Proven success selling complex facilities services and/or performance contracts.
• Experience managing long RFP-driven sales cycles.
• Experience selling to K-12 Education and Colleges/Universities is preferred.
• Knowledge of proactive prospecting at financial decision-making levels in K12/HED.
• Experience selling multiyear service contracts with high annual values.
• Bachelor's degree; additional experience in Facilities Services is a plus.
• Ability to produce persuasive proposals via RFPs, RFQs, contracts, and other documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the sales process from start to finish, prospecting opportunities and clients.
• Develop a sales strategy and territory plan to achieve quotas.
• Research and qualify opportunities and craft tailored solutions.
• Read and understand client finances and operating budgets.
• Present and defend complex, bundled financial, facility and technical solutions to C-level executives.
