Job summary

Amplify is seeking full-time Professional Development Strategists to lead custom PD initiatives for district and school partners. You will design and deliver learning experiences, work with Customer Success and Sales to drive adoption, and collaborate with Product teams to stay current on content offerings.

The role emphasizes STEM-focused professional learning, district-wide strategy development, and maintaining strong relationships with educators and leaders. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of K–8 classroom teaching experience, preferably in STEM.
• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and implementation.
• Experience managing large-scale education and custom design projects from discovery through delivery.
• Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other productivity tools.
• Ability to travel regionally and nationally; must meet Amplify’s travel and vaccination policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional leadership, operations, internal teams, and contractors to deliver high-quality PD experiences.
• Partner with fellow PD Strategists to develop, adapt, and refine customized training materials and professional learning assets.
• Co-design professional learning experiences with district leaders that reflect local context, student needs, and implementation conditions.
• Determine when existing resources should be adapted vs. when new content is needed.
• Collaborate with Product and PD teams to stay current on content offerings and feature releases.
• Escalate challenges to leadership proactively; maintain open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
• Lead pre-sales discussions and serve as the primary PD contact post-sale.
• Manage scoping and project management of custom PD engagements from discovery to delivery.
