Job summary

NYC Public Schools seeks a Senior Outreach Coordinator to lead community outreach for substitutes and paraprofessionals, coordinating with 1,600+ schools via SubCentral and other systems. You will supervise outreach staff, develop training, and create materials for districts and vendors.

You will analyze data across Galaxy, NYCAPS, EIS and SHM, design non-traditional outreach, and present findings to leadership to improve recruitment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 2 years in community work.
• Experience planning outreach and training programs preferred.
• Ability to address diverse groups and communicate needs to vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as community liaison; plan, implement and evaluate outreach programs.
• Supervise dissemination of information about opportunities, incentives and scholarships.
• Coordinate with staff to analyze SubCentral analytics for field staff.
• Develop outreach programs targeting veterans, career transitions, and housing.
• Plan canvassing for substitutes in shortage languages and locations.
• Provide technical assistance on SubCentral operations to district personnel.
