Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7+ years in editorial content development and acquisitions, preferably medical publishing.
• Proven ability to manage high-profile author teams and lead product development.
• Strong negotiation, partner management, contract negotiation and implementation skills.
• Excellent project management with cross-functional collaboration across departments.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with strong writing and presentation skills.
• Advanced digital capabilities, including proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic course for the Physical Therapy and Allied Health portfolio.
• Oversee a portfolio of print and digital products, including established titles and new initiatives.
• Build relationships with educators, clinicians, authors, and professional organizations to track market trends and needs.
• Identify and acquire new content, products, and partnerships for growth.
• Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to support positioning and engagement.
• Establish revision plans for core titles and propose new projects based on demand and industry trends.
• Contribute to emerging educational technologies, including AI-enabled tools and digital learning solutions.
