• Five to seven years educational publishing experience.
• Strong editing and writing skills; attention to language.

Responsibilities

• Read and evaluate all manuscripts.
• Hire and supervise authors, editors, designers, and developers.
• Monitor content for accuracy and alignment with specifications and trends.
• Hire and supervise freelance artists and photographers.
• Oversee development of art/photo specs.
• Coordinate the production of other printed materials.
• Oversee testing of activities and editorial processes.
• Maintain safe and healthful working conditions.
