Job summary

HKA is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to independently lead complex litigation, regulatory, and investigative matters in a client-facing consulting environment. This hybrid role is open to candidates within commuting distance of our offices in Chicago, Atlanta or Washington, DC.

You will combine deep Relativity aiR expertise with visible client leadership, moving between technical delivery, project coordination, and practical guidance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery experience leading complex matters.
• 2+ years of client-facing consulting with attorneys and stakeholders.
• Hands-on Relativity aiR (RelativityOne) expertise.
• Ability to translate instructions into defensible productions with QC steps.
• Strong knowledge of eDiscovery lifecycle, ESI, processing, and production formats.

Responsibilities

• Lead eDiscovery matters from scoping to closeout.
• Configure and troubleshoot Relativity aiR workspaces with permissions and workflows.
• Respond to attorney and client requests; prioritize needs and maintain continuity.
• Translate instructions into searches, workflows, and deliverables.
• Manage production workflows with scope, metadata, privilege, and approvals.
• Create project plans, budgets, schedules, and quality-control records.
• Identify risks and communicate issues clearly to stakeholders.
• Lead client calls and provide status updates and recommendations.
• Coordinate attorneys, clients, analysts, reviewers, and vendors across matters.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure active matter integration.
