Laminar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Edge Platform to own and build our next‑generation edge computing platform. You will shape how software, ML models, and LLM workloads run on Linux‑based edge devices and factory servers, from architecture to production deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience building production systems software for Linux, edge, or distributed environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with track record of delivering significant system components.
• Deep Linux administration, networking, filesystems, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production edge Linux environments, including provisioning and security.
• Design bare‑metal and virtualization infrastructure to deploy and manage applications.
• Deploy ML models and LLM workloads on edge hardware with attention to latency and resources.
• Integrate Laminar with customer systems via industrial protocols and interfaces.
• Build automated provisioning, remote updates, and monitoring with resilience to outages.
• Ensure secure software updates and robust deployment processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and document key architectural decisions.
