Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of software platforms, embedded control systems, and Edge AI for data center infrastructure. You will work across OT, embedded hardware, cloud, ML, and automation to deliver scalable, reliable, and predictive solutions for critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; master's preferred.
• 5+ years of production-grade software or embedded/automation experience.
• Strong programming in C/C++, Python, Rust, Go, C#, or Java.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and industrial automation technologies.
• Experience ML/Edge AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
• Edge computing, OT-cloud integration, and data center domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for industrial automation and embedded applications.
• Develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and SCADA integrations.
• Create ML and predictive analytics for fault detection and energy optimization.
• Develop Edge AI solutions enabling real-time decision making.
• Architect scalable platforms with APIs and microservices.
• Develop firmware for embedded devices and real-time systems.
