Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in power industry with transmission planning or energy market analysis.
• Modeling transmission systems and energy markets using UC/ED models required.
• Proficiency with production cost modeling software (e.g., UPLAN) required.
• Experience supervising or leading a team or project preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, and manage staff performance.
• Review and approve staff timesheets and leave requests.
• Assign, schedule, and review department staff work.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to employees.
• Develop and maintain transmission planning models and analyze system upgrades.
