Job summary

Electrolux Group North America seeks an Ecommerce Technical Lead to ensure stability, performance, and scalability of the SAP Commerce (Hybris) platform. You will translate requirements into scalable designs and lead backend development with cross-functional teams.

You will own platform reliability, deliver high‑performing features, and collaborate with ERP, CRM, and payment gateway integrations. Strong Java/Hybris expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of ecommerce and backend software development using Java
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris), including architecture, data models, and core modules
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architectures
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and enterprise development best practices
• Proven ability to lead development teams and coordinate across IT and business stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and experience operating in high-pressure, production-support environments

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable ecommerce solutions using Java and SAP Commerce (Hybris)
• Own platform reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring and resolving production issues
• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans
• Deliver new features with focus on security, performance, and reliability
• Integrate ecommerce platforms with SAP ERP, payment gateways, CRM systems, and third-party services
• Conduct code reviews to ensure architecture standards and quality
• Mentor and guide development teams to ensure consistent delivery
• Collaborate to define implementation processes, quality gates, and development standards
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint planning
